Set up BlackTwist MCP in Microsoft Copilot Studio using an API key.Overview
Microsoft Copilot Studio supports MCP tools with API key authentication. You'll add BlackTwist as a tool in your Copilot agent.Setup Steps
- Create a new agent in Copilot Studio (or open an existing one)
- Under Tools, click Add a tool
- Select Model Context Protocol, then New tool
- Enter the server URL:
https://blacktwist.app/api/mcp - For authentication, select API Key with Type: Header and Header name:
Authorization - Go to your BlackTwist dashboard, open Settings > MCP, and generate a new API key
- Paste the key in the value field with the prefix:
Bearer YOUR_API_KEY - Click Add to add the tool to your agent
Your Copilot agent can now use BlackTwist tools to schedule posts, check analytics, and manage your social accounts.
