These endpoints give you the same inbox as the Engager: the comments on a Threads account's posts from the last 7 days that it hasn't replied to yet, and a way to reply to them as that account. They work for any Threads account you can use, including accounts shared with you in a Team. Bluesky accounts aren't supported yet.

List Comments

`GET /api/v1/replies`

Returns the unanswered comments on the account's posts from the last 7 days, grouped by the post they reply to. When someone replies to one of the account's own replies, the group's post is that reply.Comments are fetched from Threads at most once every 5 minutes per account, and cachedAt tells you when. New comments can therefore take up to 5 minutes to appear, so there's no benefit in polling more often than that. Comments you reply to (through the API or the Engager) or ignore in the Engager disappear from the list right away.Query Parameters:

permalink is null when the group's post is one of the account's replies, and author is null when Threads doesn't return the commenter's profile.

Reply to a Comment

`POST /api/v1/replies`

Publishes a reply to a comment immediately, as the given account.Request Body:

providerId (required) — Provider ID from the /providers endpoint
replyToId (required) — The id of a comment from GET /api/v1/replies
text (required) — Reply content, up to 500 characters
teamId (optional) — Team ID

The response status is 201. The comment disappears from GET /api/v1/replies right away.

Errors

Besides the standard errors listed in the Introduction, both endpoints can return:

400 — The account isn't a Threads account, or the body is invalid: replyToId must be a numeric Threads id, and text must not be blank or longer than 500 characters
403 — The account doesn't exist or you can't use it (check teamId for Team accounts)
409 — The account has to be reconnected in BlackTwist before its comments can be used
502 — Threads couldn't be reached or refused the request. For replies, error includes Threads' reason.
