In June 2026, 365 BlackTwist creators who met minimum analysis thresholds (100+ followers, 1,000+ views) published 66,605 posts, generating more than 130 million views — more than double May's total. Long form threads dominated reach again with 8,740 average views per post — 8.5x a short post — while single long posts kept the highest engagement rate at 2.51%. The clearest growth signal was conversation: creators who collected 500+ replies grew 35.71% on average, versus 12.07% for those with fewer than 10, and growth climbed with every reply bucket in between. High-volume publishing paid off too, with the 10+ posts/week group leading at 24.94% average growth. Sunday delivered the best reach (4,892 avg views), while Tuesday drove the best engagement rate at 2.32%.
June's top growers doubled down on long form threads — the format that averaged 8,740 views per post. @tgjune04 posted the biggest relative jump this report has ever recorded, going from 142 to 27,216 followers, while @jimmy.nicolaides led on absolute gain for the second month running (+33,809). Among the top growers who published through BlackTwist, the most active kept a relentless cadence: @parentingwithsystems (+13,891) published ~45 posts per week with more than 80% of them multi-post threads, and @pooravbolar (+8,659) shipped over 1,300 thread posts averaging 16,171 views each. High-volume, thread-first publishing with strong hooks remains the clearest growth playbook.

Posting Frequency vs Growth
Does posting more often lead to faster follower growth?

The frequency advantage
Creators posting 10+ times per week (the largest active group at 113 creators) led June on both average growth (24.94%) and median growth (7.82%) — the only bucket to clearly pull ahead. Every other frequency bucket clustered around a 6.2-6.7% median, meaning a few extra posts per week did not move the needle much until creators crossed into multiple posts per day. As always, averages are outlier-sensitive: the small 3-4/week group posted a 23.72% average on just 16 creators, but its median tells the real story.

Engagement drives growth
June showed the cleanest engagement-to-growth staircase yet: average growth rose with every reply bucket, from 12.07% for creators with fewer than 10 total replies up to 35.71% for those with 500+. Reposts overtook likes as the strongest correlation with views (0.543 vs 0.511) — shareable content, not just likeable content, drove distribution in June. Posts with less than 1% engagement rate still had the highest average views (4,963): the same pattern as prior months — viral content accumulates views far faster than engagement keeps up.
Content Analysis
What content characteristics correlate with better performance?
The weekend-into-Monday window ruled June: Sunday posts led in views with 4,892 average, with Monday right behind at 4,820 — while Tuesday topped engagement at 2.32%. The 100-199 character range performed best on average reach (4,845 views per post) while the longer 200-500 range hit the highest engagement rate (2.25%). The media picture flipped from May: text-only posts out-reached media posts more than 3-to-1 on average views (3,900 vs 1,219), though posts with media still engaged better (3.36% vs 1.83% ER) — media built connection, but plain text traveled further.
385 Threads accounts with at least one published post between June 1-30, 2026, and 2,215 accounts with follower snapshots tracked across the month. All accounts are users of BlackTwist, a Threads analytics and management tool. This is not a random sample of all Threads creators — results reflect the behavior and performance of BlackTwist users specifically.
Growth rate rankings require a minimum of 100 followers at the start of the month. Engagement rate post rankings require a minimum of 1,000 views.
Caveats
This data represents BlackTwist users only and may not reflect broader Threads trends. View counts and engagement metrics are cumulative snapshots and may include engagement from after June 30. Correlation values are Pearson coefficients and do not imply causation.
