How to import posts in bulk to BlackTwist

With BlackTwist, you can batch upload and schedule (or draft) up to 100 posts at once from a single CSV file.

How to schedule up to 100 posts using a CSV file

If this is the first time you're using the Bulk Upload feature in BlackTwist, please make sure to follow all the steps. Otherwise, skip directly to step 4.

1. Go to https://blacktwist.app/calendar
2. Click on "Bulk Upload"
3. Download the template
4. Open it with the spreadsheet app of your choice
5. Add your dates and times in the file
6. Export it as CSV
7. Then upload it to BlackTwist, and you're done!

What used to take you an afternoon now takes about 30 seconds.

Technical details

• File must be in CSV format
• Columns:
  • Text (required)
  • Thread Group
  • Date
  • Image URL
  • Topic
• Common date formats are accepted (e.g., 2026-03-01 09:00 or 01/03/2026 09:00)
• Posts without a date will be saved as drafts.
• Rows with the same "Thread Group" become a thread.

If accents or emojis look wrong, re-save the file as "CSV UTF-8" from your spreadsheet app.

When uploading posts in bulk via CSV, images must use a direct image URL (ending in .jpg, .png, etc.), and the file must be publicly accessible via the link.
